If you are paying for more than one person, make sure you provide a list with the first and last names of all the people the check is for.
Who should attend
Once a year, the Hmong American National Catholic Association hosts a training for its officers, board members, deacons, and community leaders from all around the country and the world. This meeting is of extreme importance because it offers our community with a single opportunity each year to discuss and form strategies to promote the growth of the Hmong Catholic community. HANCA is opening this training to Hmong Catholic individuals who would like to contribute to the welfare of our community.
HANCA would like to have at least the following representatives from each Hmong Catholic communities to attend:
- Anyone who wishes to contribute to the Hmong Catholic community
- Deacons
- Community council members and officers
- Youth leaders, officers and coordinators
- Young adult leaders, officers and coordinators
- Parish life leaders
- Choir or music directors and coordinators
- Women group leaders
- Anyone else who holds a position or plans to hold a position in your local community
Why you should attend
Because you care about the future of the Hmong Catholic community. You will gain priceless insights on what other Hmong communities are doing that works for them so that you can apply them to your own community. You will hear from people who understand and have experience with the Hmong Catholic community. They will provide you with valuable information to help you lead your community in the 21st century. You will network with others and learn to support one another to meet HANCA’s goals and vision.
